Zinface (“Zinface”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by ZENO24, MMC. This Privacy Policy explains how Zinface collects, accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Zinface mobile application and related services.
By using Zinface, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
01Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Zinface may collect or access the following categories of information.
Account Information
We may collect information necessary to create and manage your account, such as:
- Name or profile name
- Email address and/or phone number
- User identifier
- Profile photo
- Account and authentication information
Location Information
Location is a core part of Zinface's location-sharing and safety functionality.
With your permission, Zinface may collect and process:
- Precise location
- Approximate location
- Real-time location
- Location history
- Location associated with places or location alerts
When you enable location-sharing features, Zinface may access your location in the background, when the app is minimized, closed, or not actively in use.
Background location is used to support features such as:
- Real-time location sharing
- Keeping your shared location up to date
- Location history
- Place and location-based alerts
- Safety and family location features
Zinface does not collect location information solely for advertising purposes and does not sell location information.
Google Play treats precise and background location as personal and sensitive information and requires this use to be clearly disclosed.
Health and Fitness Information
If you choose to connect Zinface to Android Health Connect or enable health and fitness functionality, Zinface may access:
- Step count
- Distance traveled
- Active calories burned
- Activity-related information
Zinface may also access permitted Health Connect information in the background where necessary to keep activity statistics up to date.
Health and fitness information is used only to provide user-facing features such as activity statistics, progress tracking, step-related features, and fitness insights.
Health Connect information is considered personal and sensitive data. Zinface does not sell Health Connect data or use it for targeted advertising.
Photos and Camera
Zinface may allow you to:
- Take a profile photo using your device camera
- Select an image using the Android system Photo Picker
When you select an image using Android Photo Picker, Zinface receives access only to the image you selected. Zinface does not request broad access to your photo library.
Information You Share With Other Users
Features such as groups, family/location sharing, or communication features may allow you to share information with people you choose.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Your location
- Profile information
- Activity or status information
- Content or messages you intentionally share
You control which users or groups you join and with whom you enable supported sharing features.
Device and Technical Information
We may automatically process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Zinface, including:
- Device type
- Operating system and app version
- Device identifiers used for app functionality
- Push notification tokens
- Diagnostic information
- Crash logs
- Performance information
- Security-related events
02How We Use Information
We use information collected through Zinface to:
- Create and maintain user accounts
- Provide real-time location-sharing functionality
- Keep location information updated when authorized
- Provide location history and alerts
- Display activity and fitness information
- Enable groups and user-selected sharing
- Deliver notifications
- Provide customer support
- Detect fraud, misuse, or security threats
- Maintain and improve app reliability
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We process sensitive information only where needed to provide functions requested or enabled by the user.
03Background Location
Zinface may collect location data to enable real-time location sharing, location history, place alerts, and related location features even when the app is closed or not in use.
Users are informed about background location access before Zinface requests the applicable Android permission.
Users can disable location access through their device settings, although doing so may prevent location-related features from functioning correctly.
04Health Connect Data
Access to Health Connect is optional and requires your permission.
Zinface only requests access to Health Connect data needed for the health and activity functionality offered by the app.
You can manage or revoke Zinface's access to Health Connect through your Android or Health Connect settings.
Revoking access prevents Zinface from accessing new Health Connect information.
We do not sell Health Connect information and do not use Health Connect information for advertising.
06Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and sensitive information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
Where appropriate, this includes secure transmission of data, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and security monitoring.
However, no electronic system or method of data storage can guarantee absolute security.
07Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide Zinface services
- Maintain your account
- Provide features you have enabled
- Protect the security and integrity of the service
- Meet applicable legal obligations
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being automatically overwritten or deleted.
08Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Zinface account and associated personal information.
Account deletion can be requested through the available account settings in the application or through our account deletion page:

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account, except for information that we are legally required or permitted to retain.
Deleting an account is different from temporarily disabling or logging out of an account.
Google Play requires applications offering account creation to provide a way to request deletion of the account and associated user data.
09Your Choices and Controls
Depending on your device and applicable law, you may:
- Access or update your account information
- Stop location sharing
- Leave a group
- Change location permissions
- Disable background location
- Revoke Health Connect access
- Disable camera access
- Manage notifications
- Request access to your personal information
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Delete your Zinface account
Device permissions can generally be managed through the operating system settings.
10Children's Privacy
Zinface may include features intended to help families stay connected.
Where the service is used in relation to a child, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for providing any consent required under applicable law.
We do not knowingly permit children to independently provide personal information where parental consent is legally required.
If you believe information relating to a child has been processed improperly, please contact us.
11International Data Processing
Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used to operate Zinface, information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards apply to such transfers.
12Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Zinface features, legal requirements, or our data practices change.
When material changes are made, we may notify users through the application or other appropriate means.
The latest version will always indicate the date on which it was last updated.
