01Delete Your Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Zinface app:

1. 1Open the Zinface app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. 2Go to Profile, then open Settings.
3. 3Select Account, then tap Delete account.
4. 4Read the summary of what will be removed and confirm your choice. You may be asked to re-enter your password or verify with a one-time code.
5. 5Your account is signed out on all devices and the deletion process begins.

Deleting your account is permanent. Location history, groups, and other data associated with the account cannot be recovered afterwards.

02Request Deletion Online

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, submit a deletion request using the form below. Use the email address registered to your Zinface account so that we can identify it.

To protect your account, we may contact you at the registered email address or phone number to verify that the request is genuine before deletion is carried out.

03Request Deletion by Email

You can also send your request to our support team. Please include the email address or phone number linked to your account and write “Account deletion request” in the subject line.

04What Is Deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize the personal information associated with your account, including:

• Profile information: name, profile photo, email address, and phone number
• Account credentials and authentication data
• Real-time location and location history
• Places, location alerts, and sharing settings
• Group memberships and the information you shared with other users
• Activity and fitness statistics derived from Health Connect
• Device identifiers and push notification tokens linked to the account

Your account and profile stop being visible to other users as soon as the deletion process begins. Information that was shared with other members of a group is removed from their view as well.

05What May Be Retained

Some information may be kept for a limited period after deletion where we are legally required or permitted to do so:

• Records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
• Security and fraud-prevention logs that cannot be linked back to you as an individual
• Aggregated or anonymized statistics that no longer identify you
• A record of the deletion request itself, so that we can show it was processed

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or deleted according to our regular backup schedule.

06How Long It Takes

Deletion requests made in the app start immediately. Requests submitted online or by email are processed after we verify that the request comes from the account holder.

Personal information is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of a verified request. Residual copies in backups are removed within 90 days.

Deleting your account is different from signing out or temporarily disabling it. Once deletion is complete, you will need to create a new account to use Zinface again.

07Delete Some Data Without Deleting Your Account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific information. From the app you can:

• Stop sharing your location with individual people or groups
• Clear your location history
• Leave a group
• Remove places and location alerts
• Revoke Zinface's access to Health Connect in your Android settings
• Remove or replace your profile photo

Device permissions such as location, camera, and notifications can be changed at any time in your operating system settings.
